I spent a lot of today working on a very basic redesign of swtlo.com. The intent being to establish a baseline of the site’s menu, page, and post category hierarchies.

There’s a lot more fine-tuning to do, specifically on the page/post templates themselves. Nothing too pressing which is good because I want to take some more time to think about the look and feel of those individual post pages.

I’m also going back through every (yes, every) post to update them with alt text (for photos), setting featured images, replacing embedded media (from other sites) with “local” media, and correcting categories.

I suspect this will keep me busy for a few weeks but I’m already looking forward to getting everything in order.
