🎥 Watched: KOREA: The Never-Ending War (2019)
There was a lot about this that made me mad. I wasn’t even alive during the war but thinking about how it was started by countries/leaders who had no business tearing Korea apart… and hearing the absolute ignorance from the US soldiers about “knowing how Orientals think” and the denial of US Army accountability for No Gun Ri… Infuriating.
Even more so because, as we’ve seen over and over again, this is how our wars start. This is a pattern with no end in sight. The “Middle East”, the current Russian invasion of Ukraine, and so much more that isn’t covered (or cared about) in the news.
