📚 Finished Reading: Photo No-Nos: Meditations on What Not to Photograph, edited by Jason Fulford.
Like most photo-related books, I’m happy I purchased the hardcopy (versus an ebook). The texture of the book itself, from the raised dots on the front and back cover, the standard-feeling pages of text, to the glossy pages of photographs. It makes reading it both immersive and fun.
The book is filled with different thoughts, essays (some serious, some satirical), and… well, meditations on what different photographers think makes up a “bad” photograph by describing what they avoid photographing.
It’s entertaining and insightful. Highly recommend.
